Nathalie Levesque

Licensed practical nurse vice-president (Labour Relations, Research, Legal)

CISSS de la Montérégie-Est

Dear healthcare professional colleagues,

Driven by the pursuit of justice, respect and fairness, and motivated by challenges, I am seeking your support for a new term as Vice-President, Licensed Practical Nurse, on the Executive Committee.

Interested on a daily basis in the difficulties experienced by all healthcare professionals in their various settings, I am still motivated to pursue new mandates in the big family of labour relations.

All the changes to the network that our members have undergone, the creation of a single employer and repeated budget cuts are at the heart of my concerns.

Working closely in collaboration with you to correct these situations to provide and implement solutions for all our members is a priority for me.

My great ability to work as part of a team and to be creative in finding solutions gives me all the skills needed to achieve our objectives in a new term of office. I hope to be able to offer you once again the experience I have gained, my expertise and my great activism.

The Labour Relations Sector is at the heart of the mission of a labour organization like ours. The FIQ has always been able to adapt to the many changes in the health network by adjusting either its structure or the way it provides services to members. Driven by our organization’s ability to listen to the needs of its members and of us as union reps, I’m eager to contribute once again, by working closely with you, the teams, in the years to come to meet your needs.

The sector’s major priorities of defending our members within Santé Québec and updating the gains of our last collective agreement are challenges that greatly motivate me. As you know, I’m not afraid of challenges, on the contrary, they motivate me to no end.

By placing your trust in me once again, you are relying on my availability, transparency and commitment to defend and represent the FIQ’s 80,000 healthcare professionals.

LET’S FORM A UNITED TEAM!
