Hélène Cadotte

A nurse and committed union rep, I have been the secretary-treasurer of the FIQ – SPS de Montérégie-Est since 2019. My path is guided by a profound desire to defend the rights of women both in our profession and in our society.

Actively involved in our union, I firmly believe that feminist struggles should remain at the heart of our discussions. Too many gains obtained in the past are threatened or weakened today. It is our duty to remain vigilant and combative to preserve these gains and win new ones.

I’d like to get involved with the Status of Women Committee to give a voice to the women in our network, work together on concrete actions and push forward our demands. Being a feminist means taking action. And it is in collective action that we will find our strength.

I am asking for your support in keeping these essential struggles alive within our organization.
