Dear healthcare professional union representatives,

It is with great enthusiasm that I am asking you for a new term as Treasurer of the FIQ. I can assure you that I am fully committed, always with the same energy, in every file that is entrusted to me: Treasury, Social Security, Union Defence Fund, Information Technology-Documentation Service, Internal Services and Administrative Services.

Being the treasurer of the largest federation of healthcare professionals in Québec is an  immense honour. For me, the responsibilities I have to take on and the challenges I have to meet are a source of motivation that drives me to give it my all, day after day.

Despite a difficult context, (economic, union and political), I am still determined to work for all the members and to guarantee them that the money paid to the Federation will be used in accordance with the decisions taken by the delegation. I can assure you that during this term, I will be rigorous in terms of governance, always with the aim of ensuring sound management and maintaining the Federation’s financial health.

My experience, my ability to analyze, my communication skills, as well as my critical judgment are all strengths that can bring real added value to the FIQ Executive Committee. With you, I want to continue to defend the interests of the 80,000 nurses, licensed practical nurses, respiratory therapists and clinical perfusionists of the Federation with conviction.

I will do everything in my power to continue serving the FIQ with integrity, honesty and determination, to grow its notoriety and reputation. It is with you, the union reps and members of the executive, that I hope to continue to uphold the values of the Federation, to promote and defend women’s rights and to work with you for a fairer and more equitable society.

In the past, and particularly over the last few years, I have had the opportunity to demonstrate that I am worthy of your trust. I am now asking for your support in giving me the opportunity to fulfil a new term as treasurer.
